Stardust Drifter Survival

The year is 2347. Earth, as you know it, is a memory. A faded blueprint clung to by historians and dreamers. We fled, scattered like dandelion seeds on a cosmic wind, after the Solar Flare Event. Humanity now clings to life within the Cygnus Reach, a volatile nebula teeming with pirates, ancient alien relics, and the desperate cries of forgotten colonies. You awaken in a cryogenic chamber, a dull hum vibrating through your skull. The emergency klaxons are blaring, painting the narrow confines of your escape pod in a sickly red light. The datapad strapped to your wrist flickers to life, displaying fragmented information: *"Derelict Freighter 'Stardust Drifter'… Unauthorized salvage operation… Critical hull breach… Life support failing…"* Congratulations, you're not dead. Not yet. You are, or were, a Spacer. A Jack-of-all-trades, master of none, floating between the stars, hauling cargo, patching up engines, and maybe, just maybe, dreaming of finding something more than the next ration pack. The 'Stardust Drifter' was your last contract, a long-haul freighter heading towards the Outer Rim Colonies. Now, it's your prison. The Drifter is a labyrinth of corroded metal and flickering neon signs, a ghostly echo of its former glory. Scattered throughout its ravaged corridors are echoes of its crew: bloodstained tools, panicked messages etched into the walls, and the chilling silence that speaks volumes. You are alone. Or so you think. Something else is aboard the Drifter. Something that doesn't breathe, doesn't bleed, but watches and waits in the shadows. Something that feeds on fear. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and frankly, you don't have much choice), is to survive. To repair the life support systems, escape the Drifter before it's ripped apart by the nebula's gravitational anomalies, and unravel the mystery of what happened to the crew. But be warned, Spacer. The Cygnus Reach is a cruel mistress. Trust no one. Believe nothing. And remember, the only thing more dangerous than the void outside is the darkness within the 'Stardust Drifter'.
